I really like this illustration. The use of the gradient really captures the metallic look of the ipod. The organic lines that make up the background are a nice contrast to the object as well.
I really like how you used the gradient and placed the different shapes coming out of the ipod..It makes the composition more interesting. I would suggest having them come out more into the bottom left hand corner so it draws your eye out to the edge of the page. I think it would be really cool if you had shapes coming out of the ipod screen..just something to think about. Overall, I think this is a successful image.

I love the background on this, it really adds to the picture. If it was done in color too that could be a really neat effect.
